Content Styles

The Content Style tab helps you maintain a consistent brand voice across all your AI-generated posts.

Managing Styles

  • Visual Grid: View all your created styles at a glance.
  • Create Style: Define a new writing style (e.g., “Professional”, “Casual Guide”, “Storyteller”).
  • Edit/Delete: Update or remove existing styles as your needs evolve.

Training Your Style

To make the AI truly sound like you or your brand, you can provide reference content:

  • Manual Entry: Type or paste examples of posts that represent the desired tone.
  • LinkedIn Profile Integration:
    • Fetch Posts: Enter a public LinkedIn profile URL to fetch recent posts.
    • Select References: Choose the best examples from the fetched posts to use for training the style.
    • Consistency: This ensures the AI mimics the structure, vocabulary, and rhythm of the reference profile.

LinkedIn

The LinkedIn tab manages your integration with the LinkedIn platform. (Visible to Owners/Admins).

Connection Management

  • Connect Account: Securely connect your LinkedIn account via OAuth. This authorizes FeedBoss to publish posts on your behalf.
  • Status: View the currently connected account’s name and email.
  • Disconnect: Revoke access and remove the account connection.

Connecting a Different Account

When you click “Connect LinkedIn”, a guided modal will appear with two steps:

  1. Log Out from LinkedIn: If you want to connect a different LinkedIn account than the one currently logged in to your browser, you must first log out and sign in to the correct account. Click the “Open LinkedIn.com” link to visit LinkedIn and log out.
  2. Connect: After logging out and signing in to the correct account (or if you’re already on the correct account), click “Connect LinkedIn” to proceed with the OAuth authorization.

TIP

If you’re already logged into the correct LinkedIn account in your browser, you can skip step 1 and click “Connect LinkedIn” directly.

Post Personalization

  • Enhance Persona: Enable this feature to analyze your LinkedIn profile data.
  • Benefits:
    • Profile Analysis: The AI understands your professional background and expertise.
    • Tone Matching: Aligns generated content with your natural writing voice.
    • Smart Suggestions: Provides recommendations tailored to your specific audience.
    • Audience Insights: Optimizes content for better engagement based on your profile’s reach.

Content DNA

The Content DNA tab provides a detailed view of your AI-generated digital persona, based on your LinkedIn profile. This helps you understand how the AI perceives your professional identity and content strategy.

Visualizing Your Persona

  • Persona Concentric Chart: View a concentric chart that visualizes your professional identity, communication style, and content themes.
  • Content Strategy: Understand the tone of voice and key topics you frequently post about.
  • Core Skills: A list of your identified core skills.
  • Profile Overview: A summary of your current role, company, location, and follower count.

Managing Content DNA

  • Refresh Persona: (Owners/Admins only) Pull the latest data from your LinkedIn profile to update and refresh your Content DNA.
  • Edit DNA: Manually adjust your persona summary, tone of voice, key topics, and core skills to guide the AI more accurately.

Personalization Setup

The Personalization Setup section within the Content DNA tab allows you to manage the core context used for AI generation.

  • Edit Onboarding Answers: View and refine the answers you provided during your initial onboarding. These answers form the “Deep Context” that guides the AI’s understanding of your professional goals.
  • Re-analyze Website: If your business or brand has evolved, you can update your website URL and click Re-analyze.
    • The AI will crawl your updated website and identify new context-aware questions.
    • Answering these new questions will further refine your AI persona and improve the relevance of your generated content.
  • Custom Answers: For multiple-choice questions, you can add your own custom values to ensure the AI has the most precise information about your niche or industry.

Brand Kit

The Brand Kit tab stores the visual identity FeedBoss should reuse when generating images, infographics, carousels, and post-attached visuals.

Managing a Brand Kit

  • Create Brand Kit: Start from the empty state in Settings -> Brand Kit.
  • Identity: Save the profile handle and tagline used in mockups, signature lines, and brand-aware layouts.
  • Logo: Upload the workspace logo once so visual generation can place it when relevant.
  • Typography: Choose curated primary and secondary fonts, or upload custom font files.
  • Colors: Set primary, secondary, and background colors. FeedBoss warns when the primary color does not meet readable contrast against the background.
  • Defaults: Turn Use in images on to apply saved visual styling by default in image generation.
  • Delete Brand Kit: Owners and admins can remove the saved brand profile, assets, colors, typography, and defaults from the Danger Zone.

Permissions

  • Owners and Admins can create, edit, upload assets, save changes, and delete the Brand Kit.
  • Members can view the Brand Kit but cannot edit it.

Using It in Generation

When a Brand Kit exists, FeedBoss shows a Brand Kit toggle in Studio and in the image creation flow attached to posts. Turn it on to pass the saved identity, logo, colors, fonts, and image default into the generation request.

Appearance

The Appearance tab lets you choose how FeedBoss looks on this device. Pick a theme and the whole app switches instantly.

Themes

  • Light — bright surfaces and sharp contrast.
  • Dark — easier on the eyes in low light.
  • System — matches your computer. When your computer flips between light and dark, FeedBoss flips with it.

How It Works

  • Your choice is saved on the device you set it on, so different computers can have different themes.
  • Every page is themed: dashboard, calendar, Trending, Image Studio, settings, modals, charts, and badges.
  • The setting is per person, not per workspace, so changing it doesn’t affect your teammates.

Subscription

The Subscription tab provides an overview of your billing status, your credit pool, and your current plan.

  • Current Plan: View your active tier (Starter / Pro / Agency / Agency Scale / Trial), the billing class (Monthly / Yearly / Lifetime / Trial), and renewal or expiry dates.
  • Credit Pool: See remaining monthly credits, lifetime credits, and any bonus credits, alongside the per-cycle refresh amount.
  • Top Up & Upgrade: Purchase add-on credit packs or move to a higher tier directly from this screen.

Free AI Credits (No API Key Required)

Every paid plan now ships free AI credits. You no longer need to bring your own OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or OpenRouter key to start generating, the credit pool covers paid actions out of the box. Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) is still supported in AI Integration and bypasses credits entirely.

Credit Pool

Credits live in three buckets on your subscription and drain in this order:

  1. Monthly — refreshes to your tier’s allowance on each cycle anniversary.
  2. Lifetime — granted once at LTD purchase and never resets (also where Trial credits live).
  3. Bonus — admin-grantable promo credits, applied last.

Lead Magnet, Authority Map, Content Ideation, Trending search, and LinkedIn Profile Audit do not consume credits. The auditer has its own monthly counter (5 / 15 / 25 / 50 per tier).

Plan Features and Credit Allocations

Each plan has the same feature set across MRR and LTD billing of the same tier name; only the credit allocation differs. Agency Scale (T4) exists only as an LTD plan.

Monthly / Yearly (MRR) Plans

Yearly plans are billed annually at a 20% discount versus monthly. Feature set is identical to the monthly equivalent at the same tier.

Trial

New workspaces start on a 7-day trial with 200 lifetime credits and the Starter quotas (1 workspace, 1 member, 1 LinkedIn account, 1 LinkedIn audit / month, 1 GB storage).

Feature Gating

Most features are available on every tier. The ones below are tier-gated:

NOTE

Existing paid Pro subscribers from before the credit-pool launch keep the Lead Magnet and Content Ideation features under a legacy grandfather (handled automatically by FeedBoss, no action needed).

Managing Your Subscription

  • Upgrade / Downgrade: Switch tiers any time. New allocations apply from the next cycle; remaining credits at upgrade time follow the spend-order rules above.
  • Billing Management: Update payment methods, view invoices, and manage your subscription via the Stripe customer portal.
  • Credit Top-ups: Add-on credit packs are available from the Subscription page and apply to your bonus pool.
  • Usage Tracking: Monitor remaining credits, refresh date, and audit usage directly in the Subscription tab.

Service API Keys

The API Keys tab allows you to generate keys for accessing the FeedBoss API programmatically. These keys are required for third-party integrations and custom applications.

Managing Keys

  • Create New Key: Generate a new key with a custom name. Note: The key secret is shown only once upon creation.
  • Copy: Copy the key to your clipboard immediately after creation.
  • Edit Name: Rename keys to better identify their purpose.
  • Revoke: Permanently disable a key. This will immediately block any application using that key.

IMPORTANT

Treat these keys like passwords. Do not share them publicly. If a key is leaked, revoke it immediately and create a new one.

AI Integration

The AI Integration tab allows you to bring your own API keys for greater control over content generation.

  • Manage Keys: Add, rename, or delete API keys.
  • Supported Providers:
    • OpenAI, Text & Image
    • Anthropic Claude, Text only
    • Google Gemini, Image only
    • OpenRouter, Text & Image (300+ models behind a single key)
  • Security:
    • Keys are encrypted at rest and in transit.
    • The full key is never displayed again after the initial save.
    • You can use different keys for different workspaces to track usage separately.

AI Routing

The AI routing panel lets you pick which provider handles each capability independently:

  • Text generation, choose between OpenAI, Claude, or OpenRouter.
  • Image generation, choose between OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenRouter.

A Unify segmented control at the top of the panel lets you route both capabilities through the same provider in one click, currently available for OpenAI and OpenRouter.

If a provider you’ve selected has no active key (for example, you deleted the key but the routing still points at it), FeedBoss surfaces an amber warning on that row and prompts you to either add a key or switch providers.

Smart Provider Selection

FeedBoss automatically manages your image provider selection in safe situations:

  • Auto-Switch Enabled: The system intelligently selects the appropriate provider when:
    • You add your first image generation API key and no provider was previously set.
    • You delete API keys, leaving only one provider option available.
  • Filtered Options: Only providers with active image generation API keys are displayed for selection.
  • Manual Override: You can manually switch between available providers at any time.

NOTE

OpenRouter is opt-in and is never the target of an auto-switch. Routing image (or text) through OpenRouter always requires you to add the key and explicitly pick a model.

OpenRouter

OpenRouter gives you access to 300+ models behind a single API key, frontier flagships, fast/cheap alternatives, and specialized open-source options, and FeedBoss routes both text and image generation through your chosen model.

Plan availability: OpenRouter (text and image) is available on Lifetime and Trial plans.

Selecting a model:

  1. Add your OpenRouter API key under AI Integration.
  2. Set Text generation or Image generation to OpenRouter.
  3. Use the Change button on the active-model row to open the model picker.
  4. The picker shows, for each model: name, context length, input/output pricing per million tokens, and capability badges (Vision, Structured, Tools). Image models additionally show estimated per-image cost and supported aspect ratios.

If a model you previously selected is retired from the OpenRouter catalog, FeedBoss flags it as stale in the active-model row and prompts you to pick a new one before generation resumes.
