Recent Updates

Brand Kit for Consistent Visuals

Released: May 19, 2026

FeedBoss now has a workspace-level Brand Kit so your generated visuals can follow the same identity, colors, logo, and typography without rebuilding the brief every time.

What’s new:

  • Settings -> Brand Kit: A new tab in workspace settings stores the brand profile for the workspace. Owners and admins can create, edit, and delete the kit; members can view it.
  • Identity fields: Save the profile handle and tagline FeedBoss should use when a generated visual needs a mockup handle, signature, or short brand line.
  • Logo upload: Upload the workspace logo once and reuse it in brand-aware image generation.
  • Typography controls: Pick curated fonts or upload custom primary and secondary font files for generated captions and visuals.
  • Color system: Save primary, secondary, and background colors. FeedBoss checks primary-on-background contrast and warns when it falls below readable WCAG AA contrast.
  • Default image styling: The Use in images setting applies the saved visual styling by default, while the Brand Kit toggle in Studio and post-attached image generation lets you turn it on or off per generation.
  • Brand-aware generation hooks: Image Studio, image templates, infographic generation, carousel generation, image edits, and post image creation now pass the Brand Kit preference through the generation APIs.
  • Reliable image downloads: Studio image downloads now route through FeedBoss so generated assets download with predictable behavior and clean filenames.

Smarter Auto-Generate Calendar Progress

Released: May 14, 2026

The Auto-Generate Calendar modal has been rebuilt around the actual work happening on the backend. Instead of a generic spinner with rotating LinkedIn tips, you now see exactly where you are in the pipeline and which day FeedBoss is currently writing.

What’s new:

  • Live Phase Pill: A pill at the top of the progress view tells you what’s happening right now, Loading your voice → Processing sources → Writing posts → Saving posts. No more guessing whether the request is stuck.
  • Per-Day Checklist: Each day in the calendar shows up as its own row with its theme. Rows light up as they move through pending → saving (spinner) → completed (green check), with a red error icon if a day fails. You can watch your week (or month) materialize one post at a time.
  • Accurate Post Counter: The bar under the progress shows X / Y posts in real time instead of a static “Started” / “Almost there”.
  • Quieter Status Line: Background keepalive pings from the server no longer overwrite the status message, so the description under the timer stays meaningful.
  • Wraps Long Themes: Longer status messages now wrap to a second line on mobile instead of getting cut off behind a hover-only tooltip.

Polishing Indicator on AI-Generated Posts

Released: May 14, 2026

Every AI-generated post in FeedBoss goes through a final humanize pass that rewrites the draft to sound less like AI before saving. That pass is now visible to you, so you know it’s happening and you can see when it actually changed something.

What’s new:

  • “Polishing…” Chip: A violet chip appears on the post card the moment the humanize pass starts, with a pulsing sparkle icon. It tells you the AI is rewriting your post and not just stuck.
  • “Polished” Confirmation: When the rewrite actually changed the text, an emerald Polished chip flashes for 3 seconds after the post finalizes. If the rewrite decided no changes were needed, no chip appears, no false signal.
  • Everywhere Posts Are Generated: The chip surfaces in single-post mode, the multi-variation batch view (per-card), and the calendar’s Review & Approve Posts modal during inline AI edits.
  • Smarter Loading States: The mobile loading card and progress block now hand off to the post card as soon as the post body starts streaming, so you watch the post fill in instead of waiting on a generic skeleton.

OpenRouter Support

Released: May 11, 2026

You can now route every generation in FeedBoss through OpenRouter, unlocking access to 300+ text and image models behind a single key. Bring your own OpenRouter API key, pick the model you want for text and image separately, and FeedBoss will route requests through it for the full app, chat, post generation, image studio, and edits.

What’s new:

  • OpenRouter as a First-Class Provider: A new provider row in Settings → AI Integration, alongside OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini. Add an OpenRouter key once and it powers both text and image generation.
  • 300+ Models via One Key: Choose from frontier flagships, fast/cheap alternatives, and specialized open-source models, all through the same key. The model picker shows context length, input/output pricing, and capability badges (Vision / Structured / Tools) for text models, and per-image cost plus supported aspect ratios for image models.
  • Independent Routing: Pick one model for text and a different one for image, or unify both on OpenRouter in a single click using the Unify segmented control at the top of the AI routing panel.
  • Live Catalog Sync: The model list is pulled from OpenRouter’s catalog. If a model you previously selected is retired, FeedBoss flags it as stale in the active-model row and prompts you to pick a new one.
  • Plan Availability: OpenRouter (text and image) is available on Lifetime and Trial plans. Trial users see the FeedBoss-default models out of the box, but can add an OpenRouter key any time to preview the BYOK experience.
  • Safe by Default: OpenRouter is opt-in. The image-provider auto-switch (which flips you when you add your first image key) never targets OpenRouter, picking it always requires an explicit model selection.

TIP

Get your key at openrouter.ai/keys. You’ll need to add a payment method on OpenRouter; pricing is per-model and pay-as-you-go.

LinkedIn AI-Label Fix for Generated Images

Released: May 9, 2026

Images generated by GPT or Gemini and published to LinkedIn were previously flagged with LinkedIn’s AI-generated label, applied automatically based on the metadata signals the underlying providers include in their outputs.

We’ve fixed this. Every image generated through FeedBoss is now processed before publish so LinkedIn no longer detects it as AI-generated, your posts read as native images, indistinguishable from anything else in your feed.

NOTE

This fix applies to images generated inside FeedBoss going forward. Already-published posts retain whatever label they were assigned at publish time.

Bigger Prompts for Image Generation

Released: May 9, 2026

The character limit on image generation prompts has been raised across the platform so you can pass more context to the model, the full post you’re illustrating, a detailed brief, brand guidelines, or all of the above.

New limits:

  • Image prompts: up to 4,000 characters
  • Infographic prompts: up to 4,000 characters
  • Carousel prompts: up to 6,000 characters

Limits apply consistently across the Image Studio prompt bar, the Create Image modal attached to posts, the carousel and infographic generation flows, and the template input forms. The counter under the prompt input turns red as you approach the cap, and the Generate button blocks submission once you go over.

Native Video Posts

Released: May 6, 2026

You can now attach a video file directly to a LinkedIn post and publish it as a native video, no third-party tools, no manual upload to LinkedIn. The full pipeline runs inside FeedBoss with live progress and inline preview.

What’s new:

  • Upload Video in Spice Up: A new option in the Spice Up Your Post dropdown opens a focused upload modal. Drop a file or browse to pick one, MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, ASF, FLV, MPEG, and M4V are all supported, up to 5 GB.
  • Multipart Upload: Files are split into parts and uploaded in parallel directly to secure storage, so a 1 GB clip uploads as fast as your connection allows rather than streaming through our servers.
  • Live LinkedIn Progress: Watch the video move through Registering → Processing → Ready to publish in real time. Most short clips finish in 1–3 minutes; longer files take proportionally longer.
  • Mid-Pipeline Recovery: Close the tab and come back, FeedBoss picks up the live status when you reopen the draft. If the progress connection drops mid-stream, a Resume tracking button reconnects without re-uploading.
  • Inline Preview: The video plays right inside the LinkedIn preview, so you can verify framing and audio before publishing. Posts with video also show a status-aware badge (blue / amber / rose) on their card in My Posts.
  • Quota Accounting: Videos count against your workspace storage quota using the verified S3 size, not what your browser claims. Removing a video refunds the quota.
  • Publish Smartly: If you hit Publish before LinkedIn finishes processing, the request waits up to 8 minutes for the video to be ready. If it’s already ready, publishing is instant.

Limits: a LinkedIn post can carry video or images or a carousel or an infographic, not a mix. Attaching a video clears any other media on the draft.

Image Studio & Unified Canvas Editor

Released: May 3, 2026

A single home for every visual you make. The new Image Studio generates images, infographics, and carousels from one prompt bar, with role-tagged reference images and AI-powered edits applied right on the result. The carousel and infographic editors are now a single Canvas page you can flip between without losing your place.

What’s new:

  • Image Studio: A new top-level Studio page (/workspace/[id]/studio) that unifies image, infographic, and carousel generation. Switch the format chip in the prompt bar to change what gets produced, same prompt, same references, different output.
  • Aspect Ratio Control: Pick Square, Portrait, Landscape, or Widescreen from a chip in the prompt bar. Carousel locks to square; infographic defaults to portrait. Widescreen is available on the Agency plan.
  • Role-Tagged References: Attach up to 4 reference images and tag each one as Style (copy the look, up to 2), Subject (keep the subject recognizable, up to 2), or Logo (place your brand mark, up to 1). Style references and a style preset are mutually exclusive, attach a style reference and the analyzed look takes over.
  • Refine Prompt: One-click expands a rough brief into a polished, render-ready prompt with your selected style baked in. The Refine button gently pulses after you pause typing on a non-empty prompt as a hint.
  • Unified Recents: Every image, infographic, and carousel you’ve made is listed together in the Studio’s Recents section, regenerate, use as reference, or add to a post in one click.
  • Canvas Editor with Mode Bar: /workspace/[id]/canvas is now the single editor for both carousels and infographics. A mode bar at the top switches between the two with a confirm-before-discard prompt for unsaved work. The legacy /carousel and /infographic URLs permanently redirect to the new Canvas page.
  • AI Edits on Every Result: Nine edit actions are available on any generated image, infographic, or carousel slide: Add object, Remove object, Replace object, Change lighting/weather, Change background, Apply style, Edit text in image, Translate text in image, and Freeform.
  • Brush Mask: For region-targeted edits, paint exactly where the change should apply. Toolbar supports size adjustment, undo, redo, and clear.
  • Smart Element Removal: For Remove object, the studio auto-detects elements in the image (people, text blocks, decorations) and lets you tap up to ten to erase in one pass. Detection is cached, so re-opening the panel is near-instant.
  • Before / After Slider: After an edit completes, drag the slider to compare the original and the edited result.
  • Streaming Carousel Generation: Carousels stream in slide-by-slide with live progress (e.g. 3/8 slides) and land in Recents when complete.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: Press / anywhere on the Studio page to focus the prompt; Cmd/Ctrl + Enter to generate.

Style Presets for Carousel & Infographic

Released: April 22, 2026

Creating a high-quality carousel or infographic just got a lot faster. You can now choose from a curated set of professionally designed style presets before generating, pick a look, and the output matches it from the first slide. The creation flow has also been streamlined so you spend less time configuring and more time publishing.

What’s new:

  • Style Presets: A curated library of high-quality visual styles you can apply before generation. Each preset controls colors, typography, layout, and overall aesthetic so your carousel or infographic looks polished without manual design work.
  • Improved Creation Flow: The carousel and infographic creation experience has been redesigned for clarity. Fewer steps, better defaults, and a more intuitive layout that gets you from idea to finished visual faster.

Import Your Own Posts

Released: April 19, 2026

You’re no longer locked into the AI-generate flow when you start a new post. The post composer now opens with a “How would you like to start?” choice so you can bring in content you’ve already written, a draft from your notes, a post from another tool, or something you wrote by hand, without fighting the editor.

What’s new:

  • Start Your Way: The new Create Post screen offers two paths, Generate with AI (the existing flow) or Paste your own text (a dedicated import editor).
  • Paste Editor: A focused editor for pasting long-form content, with live character and word counts and a roomy writing area.
  • AI Tells Detector: As you paste, the editor scans for common AI-sounding phrases, overused transitions, hedged openers, boilerplate hooks, and flags them inline. A status chip shows the overall level (none / low / medium / high), and the expandable panel lists each detected pattern with the exact snippet so you can rewrite in your own voice.
  • Save As Draft: Imported content saves straight into My Posts as a draft, ready to edit, schedule, or publish.
  • Safe Discard: Hitting Escape with unsaved text prompts before discarding, so you don’t lose a paste by accident.

The carousel workflow has been completely streamlined. Instead of creating a post, generating a carousel, jumping to the editor, saving changes, hunting down the original post, re-attaching it, and publishing from another page, you can now do it all without leaving the carousel editor.

What’s new:

  • Create a Carousel: Start directly from your post composer. Choose your slide count and generate the carousel in one step.
  • Edit in the Studio: One click opens the carousel editor so you can refine every slide. Save progress anytime without leaving the studio.
  • Re-attach Instantly: When you’re ready, add the carousel back to the original post with a single click, no more hunting for the original post.
  • Preview & Publish: See exactly how your carousel will look and publish it straight from the same screen.

Dashboard Redesign

The dashboard has been redesigned with three new additions to help you move from ideas to content faster.

What’s new:

  • Trending Topics: Today’s trending topics are surfaced directly on your home screen. Click any topic to jump to the Trending page with that topic highlighted and ready to research or post from.
  • Predefined Templates: A curated set of post templates is now available on the dashboard so you can start writing with a proven structure in one click.
  • Generate Now (Weekly Calendar): A new Generate Now button lets you instantly create a full week’s content calendar without leaving the dashboard.

Features:

  • Daily Trending Topics: A fresh set of trending topics relevant to your niche is surfaced every day, each with a category, description, source link, and a suggested LinkedIn angle.
  • Quick Post: Generate a post immediately from any topic’s title, description, and angle, no research needed.
  • Research Panel: Click Research on any topic to get a full research brief in 5–15 seconds, including a summary, key points, different perspectives, recent developments, post ideas, and supporting stats with sources.

  • Re-research: Force a fresh fetch on any previously researched trending topic to get up-to-date data.
  • Dashboard Integration: Trending topics highlighted on the dashboard link directly to the Trending page with the topic scrolled into view.

Usage limits:

  • Each research fetch (trending or custom) counts toward your monthly quota. Quick Post does not count.
  • Limits reset at the start of your billing cycle. Upgrade in Settings → Subscription for a higher quota.
