LinkedIn Infographic Generator
Turn text into professional infographics for LinkedIn using AI. Generate from the Image Studio and edit in the unified Canvas.
Infographics are a powerful way to present data and concepts visually. You can generate stunning visuals with our LinkedIn Infographic Generator.
Infographics live in two places now:
- Image Studio, generate a new infographic from a prompt, a style preset, a template, or with reference images.
- Canvas editor at
/workspace/[id]/canvas?mode=infographic, refine the visual, save progress, re-attach to a post, and download. The legacy/infographicURL permanently redirects here.
Creating an Infographic
Method 1: From the Image Studio
- Open the Studio from the workspace sidebar.
- Switch the format chip to Infographic. The aspect ratio defaults to portrait, change it from the chip if needed.
- Describe what you want (e.g. “A timeline of AI development from 2020 to 2025”). Click Refine to expand a rough brief into a polished prompt.
- Pick a style, choose a curated style preset, or attach style references to drive the look. Subject and logo references are also supported (logo references are an infographic specialty: drop in your brand mark and the AI will place it in the result).
- Generate. The result lands on a focused Result Card with quick actions (regenerate, edit prompt, use as reference, add to post, edit with AI).
Method 2: From an infographic template
In the Studio’s Templates explorer, switch the format chip to Infographic. Pick a template and fill in the content the template needs, the template controls the layout, colors, and typography.
Method 3: From the post composer
In the post composer, choose Create Infographic. The AI generates an infographic from the content of your post, and you jump into the Canvas editor with it attached.
NOTE
Generation may take a few moments.
Review & iteration
After generation matches your request:
- Edit in Canvas: Open the unified Canvas editor (
/canvas?mode=infographic) to customize your infographic. The mode bar at the top lets you flip to Carousel and back without leaving the page. - Edit with AI: From the Studio’s Result Card, open the Edit Panel to apply targeted AI edits, remove an object, change the background, edit text in the image, translate in-image text, and more. See the Image Studio docs for the full action reference.
- Regenerate: Re-run the same prompt + style combination to get a fresh variation.
- Save or Download: When you’re happy with the result, save it to your library or download it.
AI-Assisted Editing Modes
The infographic editor includes two AI-powered editing modes:
Copilot Mode
- Get AI suggestions for design improvements
- Receive real-time feedback on layout and composition
- AI assists but you maintain full control
Autopilot Mode
- Fully automated design generation
- AI handles layout, colors, and styling
- Perfect for quick content creation
Canvas Editor
The infographic editor shares the Canvas page with the carousel editor, same canvas, same tools. The mode bar at the top switches between Carousel and Infographic and warns before discarding unsaved work.
- Professional Editing Tools: Text, shapes, images, drawing tools, voice-to-text
- Advanced Controls: Opacity, filters, background removal
- Keyboard Shortcuts: Efficient editing workflow
- Layer Management: Organize and arrange elements
- Undo/Redo: Full history management
See the Carousel documentation for complete editing tool details.
