FeedBoss Documentation

AI LinkedIn Post Generator & Editor

Generate LinkedIn posts from a prompt or bring your own, refine them, check them for slop, and finish on a canvas that matches what LinkedIn accepts.

Writing posts is the core of FeedBoss. You draft in the Dashboard chat, or paste in something you already wrote, then finish and publish on the post canvas.

Two ways to start

  • Generate with AI: describe your topic in the Dashboard chat and FeedBoss drafts a post, streaming it in as it writes. When a request is thin on facts, it may ask up to five short questions first.
  • Paste your own text: bring in a post you wrote elsewhere. Character and word counts update live, and Save As Draft stores it in My Posts.

Every draft is read three times

When FeedBoss generates a post, it reviews the draft three times in parallel and acts on what the readings agree on. A single reading can swing on the same text; three make the call about whether a draft needs work steadier. The three run at once, so they do not add waiting time.

Single and batch mode

A toggle above the chat input picks the mode:

  • Single: one focused draft. Describe the topic or paste a URL, pick a content style if you want one, and the post streams into the editor.
  • Batch: describe a theme and get 5 variations at once. Review them in a grid, select one or more, and refine them together (“make the selected posts shorter”). Schedule or publish each from its card.

Refine a draft

  • Manual edits: click into the editor and change the words.
  • AI refinements: ask in chat, for example “make the hook punchier”.
  • Voice to text: dictate your edits with the mic.
  • Emoji picker: insert emoji from the editor.

Check it for slop

Run the Slop Check on any draft. It reads the post three times, line by line, and flags the lines a reader would stall on, each with the reason and a fix. There is no overall score. When line edits are not enough and the whole shape is the problem, Rewrite the Whole Post rebuilds the draft in your voice and shows it side by side before anything changes.

Finish on the canvas

The canvas is where a draft becomes a publishable post, held to what LinkedIn actually accepts:

  • 3,000 characters, one kind of media, up to 20 images.
  • Held with the reason on screen: the header, the issues panel, and the buttons all report the same verdict, so you know exactly why a post cannot go out yet.
  • A truthful preview: it folds where the real feed folds, on both mobile and desktop, and updates as you type.

My Posts

Your posts auto-save as you write, so nothing is lost. Find them all under My Posts, organized as a board:

  • Drafts, Pending Approval, Changes Requested, Approved, Scheduled.

Drag a card between columns to change its status. Each card has quick actions: Publish, Edit, Reschedule, and Delete.

NOTE

Publishing goes out through your connected LinkedIn account over the official LinkedIn connection. Connect it first under Settings, LinkedIn.

Version history

Every AI refinement or manual edit saves a snapshot, so you can trace a post’s evolution and restore an earlier version. Open the history from the editor, browse versions with their timestamp, source (AI refined or manual edit), and character count, then Restore the one you want. Restoring creates a new version, so you never lose history.
