FeedBoss Browser Extension for LinkedIn

The FeedBoss Chrome extension drafts thoughtful, in-voice LinkedIn comments right in the comment box. You review and post them yourself.

The FeedBoss Chrome extension helps you engage on LinkedIn without leaving the feed. It reads the post, the author, and your own voice, and drafts a comment worth more than “Great post!”. You review it and post it yourself.

What it does

  • Adds a button inside the LinkedIn comment box.
  • Drafts a comment in your voice, tuned to the post you are replying to.
  • Lets you pick the stance before it writes.
  • Never posts for you. You read the draft, edit it, and hit Post.

Install it

FeedBoss AI is on the Chrome Web Store.

  1. Open the FeedBoss AI extension page.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
  3. Pin it: click the puzzle icon in your toolbar and pin FeedBoss.

Connect it

Click the extension icon to open its settings, then pick how it is powered:

  • Hosted Service (recommended): use your FeedBoss account. Choose Hosted Service and sign in.
  • Bring Your Own Key: use your own OpenAI key. Choose Bring Your Own Key and paste your key.

Set your voice

Under Settings & Personas, tell the extension how you write:

  • Industry or niche and your role, so it uses the right terms.
  • Tone preferences (casual, professional, direct, and so on).
  • Writing samples: paste 3 to 5 comments you have written. This is the biggest lever for making drafts sound like you.

Use it

  1. Find a post on LinkedIn and click Comment.
  2. Click the sparkle button in the comment box.
  3. Pick a stance:
    • Agreeing: add evidence or a similar experience.
    • Contrarian: offer a respectful different view.
    • Inquisitive: ask an open question.
    • Supportive: add a genuine, specific note of support.
  4. The extension drafts the comment. Read it, tweak it, and Post.

Troubleshooting

  • No button shows up. Refresh the page, click inside the comment box, and check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions/.
  • “API key not configured”. Open the extension and either sign in (Hosted Service) or paste a valid key (BYOK).
  • The comment did not land in the box. LinkedIn’s editor is occasionally stubborn. Generate again, or copy and paste the draft in.
